Blending California’s mountains with the ocean, capturing the interplay between land and sea. The use of cool blues and white evokes the foam and waves of the ocean, while the textured peaks rising above are inspired by the rugged coastal mountains. The sky suggest the glow of dusk. Painted in a plein-air style, outdoors on my favorite Malibu beach.
